Expert/person in your field that you admire
Hi everyone! Today I am going to talk about Carl Wilhelm Scheele, he is a Swedish chemist born in Pomerania in today's Germany. He is known for his pharmaceutical works and for the discovery of many elements and chemical substances, the most important of which was oxygen. I admire him for the wonderful and important discoveries he made, and also for all the effort he made to get so far, with the few resources he had. His passion for chemistry was born when he was apprenticed to a pharmaceutical chemist in Sweden, and from there he worked in pharmacies for a while until other scientists discovered his talent for chemistry. His discoveries were so important that they marked a before and after in scientific history, Scheele worked in all existing fields of chemistry. Among his many important contributions was the study of mineral acids, such as arsenic acid, molybdic acid and tungstic acid. Thanks for reading me!
